Project Administrator - Engineering As the Project Administrator - Engineering, you will support engineering projects and work with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. Additional responsibilities include ensuring project management systems and processes are in place and being followed, customer-facing quote tools are updated and function correctly and supporting the launch of development projects into production.
The Successful Candidate’s Responsibilities Will Include
- Attending weekly project planning meetings and track engineering tasks and deliverables across multiple departments.
- Compiling and distributing daily, weekly, and monthly reports on product development progress.
- Reviewing customer engineering specifications and maintaining a database of technical specifications.
- Developing documentation and processes for internal order verification.
- Reviewing and processing Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) for production.
- Compiling, formatting, and distributing installation manuals in both electronic and hard-copy formats for production units.
The Ideal Candidate For This Position Will Have
- Post-secondary education in Engineering Technology, Project Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience supporting engineering or manufacturing project teams preferred.
- Familiarity with engineering drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with ERP/PDM systems considered an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and consistency in documentation.
- Please note that this role is an in-office position.
