About the role

Are you passionate about aviation and skilled in aircraft maintenance? Join our dynamic team as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (avionics). You will play a vital role in performing preventive and corrective maintenance, overseeing inspections, and contributing to the safety and reliability of our aircraft fleet. Your Role The Aircraft Maintenance Technician (avionics) will perform maintenance tasks assigned by the coordinator. They will also carry out aircraft maintenance releases and contribute to correcting defects found during routine inspections or inspections after a flight reported by the crew. They may also be required to oversee an inspection or modification on a given aircraft.

The Tasks Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Performing repairs, overhauls, or modifications on aircraft, components, and equipment as assigned;
  • Adhering to procedures contained in the maintenance policy manual;
  • Ability to read and understand various schematics for maintenance troubleshooting;
  • Performing and coordinating the inspection, maintenance, and repair of company aircraft and related systems;
  • Troubleshooting aircraft issues;
  • Building, calibrating, and maintaining control boxes or panels;
  • Contributing to the rectification of deficiencies found during routine inspections or reported by a crew after a flight;
  • Performing tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures, while paying particular attention to personal safety and that of colleagues and customers;
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures and using only company-approved equipment and materials;
  • Keeping their technical and health/safety training records up to date.

Requirements Required Qualifications:

  • Must hold (or be in the process of obtaining) a valid Transport Canada Category E AME license;
  • Proficient with computers and diagnostic tools;
  • Understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and operations;
  • Perform tasks in accordance with aircraft specifications and maintenance manuals;
  • Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status;
  • Eligible for obtaining a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC);
  • Class 5 driver's license.
