Purpose:
The Logistics Manager is primarily responsible for planning and managing warehouse inventory capacities and related resources required for material flow, across OMS’ network of locations, with full visibility to product distribution. Key partnerships with the Medical Equipment and Supplies Sales team and with the Homecare Services team, will establish and maintain an inventory strategy in support of exceptional fill rates. This position will regularly review the logistics network based on business development to ensure planned sales can be executed without constraints.

Job Responsibilities:
- Design and implement an effective warehousing network that supports the OMS growth strategy and operational goals. Identify and establish relationships with key Purchasing, Operations, and Transportation partners.
- Lead smart slotting activities to optimize bin sizes and product placement for manual and automated pick locations.
- Establish metrics that measure the internal efforts of managing inventory transactions and transportation costs.
- Evaluate service levels to determine where opportunities lie to optimize warehousing strategy.
- Make recommendations to improve process and inventory management efforts.
- Provides guidance and assistance to pharmacy stakeholders in various aspects of supply management.
- Identify and action opportunities to improve service, including work instructions/procedures to improve team efficiencies and workflow.
- Monitor health and safety compliance and promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications:

Minimum 5+ experience as a Buyer, Inventory Analyst or Warehouse Operation Manager.

Must be highly organized with an ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities.

Solid understanding of supply chain practices.

Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management and various Transportation Modes.

Solid judgement along with decision making skills
SKILLS:
- Service awareness – exemplary customer service mentality.
- Organizing/Planning Ability – strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Interpersonal – balancing of business needs and performance with the needs of positive relationships.
- Integrity – can be trusted to perform responsibilities in a proper and honest manner.
