This Summer Internship offers a launchpad like no other. You’ll be supported by experienced professionals and exposed to our innovative digital Consulting tools. From early May through mid-August 2026, you’ll dive into real client work, learning how businesses operate and how trust is built through consulting services. You’ll be guided through the consulting process by experienced professionals and gain exposure to our market-leading digital tools. You’ll benefit from a rich internship experience that includes meetings with firm leadership, interactive lunch and learns, skill-building workshops, client visits, and opportunities to participate in volunteer and social events.

Our Cybersecurity and Privacy Practice
As companies pivot toward a digital business model, exponentially more data is generated and shared among organizations, partners and customers. We play an integral role in helping our clients ensure they are protected by developing transformation strategies focused on security, efficiently integrate and manage new or existing technology systems to deliver continuous operational improvements and increase their cybersecurity investment, and detect, respond, and remediate threats.

Experiences and Skills You’ll Use to Solve: A career within Cybersecurity and Privacy, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients implement an effective cybersecurity program and help run their cybersecurity operations that protects against threats, propels transformation, and drives growth.
As an intern, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include:
- Learn cybersecurity concepts such as detection, response and attack patterns
- Work in an operational environment and learn first-hand on how cybersecurity operations work in detecting and preventing cyber threats
- Assist with security monitoring, detection, response and client care
- Ensure cyber security incidents are investigated identified, assessed, reported, communicated to the client, and mitigated
- Ensure compliance to client agreements, adherence to process and process improvements to achieve operational objectives
- Revise and develop processes to strengthen the current Security Operations Framework
- Administration & maintenance of security devices
- Perform threat management, threat modeling, identify threat vectors and develop use cases for security monitoring
- Responsible for integration of standard and non-standard logs in SIEM
- Coordination with stakeholders, build and maintain positive working relationships with them

- Enrolled in second or third year of the following post-secondary programs: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, applied mathematics, computer engineering
- Ability to code in one or several languages: Java, C, C++ or Python
- An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
- A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate new ideas
- Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills; an ability to think broadly and to ask questions about data, facts and other information to deliver quality to our clients
- Share and collaborate effectively with others, building relationships which are genuine and rooted in trust
- Ability to easily adapt and prioritize, demonstrating project management skills to handle changing priorities
- Alignment with PwC Values: Acting with Integrity, Working Together, Care, Reimagine the Possible and Make a Difference
- Comfortable travelling to cities across Canada, when required
- Legally entitled to work for PwC in Canada for the intended duration of the offer/contract.
- We'd love it even more if you’re bilingual in English and French, however this isn't a requirement.
