Our Mercedes-Benz Markham Dealership is looking for an Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk to join our amazing team!

Job Purpose

The Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk performs accounting-related tasks utilizing knowledge of the entire accounting cycle. This position performs accounts receivable tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare bank deposits and complete the cash control worksheet, on a daily basis.
  • Monitor cash and Credit card clearing accounts.
  • Maintain regular supplier files and assign new vendor accounts.
  • Perform Accounts Receivable duties.
  • Prepare daily bank report.
  • Maintain New and Pre-Owned garage register.
  • Maintain Dealer Plate register.
  • Perform other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of related industry experience.
  • Background in the automotive or related industry is an asset.
  • College Diploma or University Degree.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with CDK and/or Reynolds systems; ability to operate PC-based software, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Strong attention to detail.
