About Us

At Tim Hortons, we are dedicated to delivering the highest quality products and exceptional experiences to our customers. Our Supply Chain team plays a crucial role in ensuring the consistent availability of our products across our network of restaurants. We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join us as an Analyst, Supply Planning — a key contributor to the efficiency and reliability of our replenishment operations.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management and Analysis:

Regularly review current stock levels for assigned SKUs to identify potential shortages or excess inventory. Partner with cross-functional teams to proactively address imbalances and mitigate supply risks. Utilize our advanced planning system, Kinaxis Maestro, to monitor inventory health and optimize replenishment plans.

Replenishment Planning:

Generate and manage replenishment orders through Kinaxis Maestro. Incorporate sales forecasts, lead times, and target inventory levels to maintain product availability while minimizing waste and carrying costs. Support system parameter maintenance (e.g., safety stock levels, reorder points) to enhance planning accuracy.

Supplier Collaboration:

Coordinate closely with suppliers to ensure on-time and accurate delivery of replenishment orders. Escalate and assist in resolving delivery issues or discrepancies to minimize operational disruptions.

Shipment and Allocation Oversight:

Track incoming shipments and address transit or scheduling issues in collaboration with logistics and warehouse teams. Support efficient inventory allocation across distribution centers to maintain service levels and reduce stockouts.

Inventory Optimization:

Analyze data to identify slow-moving or obsolete items, providing recommendations for disposition or reduction strategies. Contribute to initiatives that enhance inventory turnover and working capital efficiency.

Issue Resolution and Root Cause Analysis:

Participate in investigations of supply chain disruptions or order discrepancies. Support senior team members in implementing corrective and preventive actions.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within replenishment and inventory workflows. Assist in documentation and standardization of best practices to strengthen operational consistency.

Vendor Payment Accuracy:

Collaborate with Accounts payable team, procurement and vendors to resolve quantity or receipt discrepancies, ensuring accurate vendor payments and strong supplier relationships.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or related functions (experience in the food service industry is an asset).
  • Proficiency with supply chain planning systems such as Kinaxis Maestro (or similar tools).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across internal and external stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and continuous-improvement mindset.
