Who you are
- Experience in partnerships, growth, and integrations for a major crypto organization or a fast-growing startup, primarily with a focus in stablecoins or DeFi
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, even in a remote setting
- Proficiency in data and information management tools like Microsoft Office, Google Office, and Notion
- Case studies of success in securing major partnerships or growth outcomes for prior employers
- Established social media presence to promote Ethena’s brand to new audiences
What the job involves
- As a Business Development Associate at Ethena Labs, you will play a critical role in expanding the adoption of USDe, USDtb, and other core Ethena product lines via partnerships, integrations, and relationship building
- You will work with the Commercial team and related functions to efficiently establish relationships, onboard, then close integrations that will bring Ethena products to new users and pools of capital
- This role is ideal for someone who has strong verbal and written communication skills, is a creative problem solver, and has deep domain expertise in stablecoins and decentralized finance
- The candidate should also have an extensive network across the industry across other operators, along with investors and traders
- Drive adoption by sourcing, evaluating, and closing new partnership opportunities to expand USDe and Ethena product use across DeFi, exchanges, wallets, and fintech platforms
- Build the ecosystem by developing relationships with key players such as liquidity providers, on/off-ramps, payment processors, and foundations of blockchains and other projects
- Support integrations by collaborating with product and technical teams to onboard partners
- Conduct market research to monitor trends in asset issuance, DeFi, and regulatory developments, informing business strategy
- Execute deals by managing the partnership process from outreach and negotiation, to legal review and go-to-market coordination efforts
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, legal, and compliance teams to run co-marketing initiatives and ensure partnership alignment
- Engage with the community by representing the company in calls, events, and online forums to strengthen brand presence and thought leadership in the stablecoin space
