Sagen is seeking a results-driven Manager, Sales Enablement, to serve as the critical bridge between our product strategy and the frontline sales team. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and executing targeted enablement strategies that empower sales representatives to confidently and effectively position our product suite. This role will also support broader sales enablement activities ensuring the sales team is equipped with market-competitive knowledge and superior resources to optimize every customer’s interaction and ultimately gain market share.

Here is where you will be focusing to ensure your success.

Product Content, Training & Delivery

  • Develop and manage a centralized depository of high-impact product-related sales content (e.g., pitch decks, scenario scripts) to translate technical product details into compelling value propositions.
  • Design, implement, and measure product enablement programs (e.g. training, and workshops) to improve sales team product knowledge and objection handling.
  • Support all product launch enablement activities, ensuring the sales force is trained, equipped, and ready to effectively position product enhancements, new products, and policy updates.

Product Research: Conduct market and competitor research and assess feedback data and customer needs providing insights that drive product and sales decisions that shape go-to-market strategies.

Internal Product Support: Serve as the subject matter expert for product and policy related inquiries from the sales team, clarifying product, policy, and guidelines empowering the national and regional sales teams to engage with customers effectively.

Sales Methodology Implementation: Assist with the adoption of the sales methodology across national and regional sales teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.

CRM Optimization: Collaborate with sales team to improve and optimize CRM platforms, ensuring they are effectively used by the sales team to streamline processes, enhance, productivity, and maintain accurate customer data.

Training & Support: Support the development and delivery of sales training programs, to new hires and existing staff, enhancing the team’s skills and knowledge of our sales methodology, ensuring consistent use of sales tools within a remote workforce.

Performance Analysis: Monitor adoption and effectiveness or sales tools, methodologies, and product rollouts, using data-driven insights to recommend improvements.

Event Planning Support: Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of high-value customer and internal sales events that align with business objectives and maximize return on investment.

What we are looking for.

  • 5 years of experience in product support, sales enablement, sales operations, or a related role in a financial services setting.
  • Strong communication and presentations skills, with the ability to create compelling sales and training materials.
  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate at all levels of the company.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to change with demonstrated ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines.
  • Experience conducting market research and analyzing customer needs to support go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems, sales methodologies, and sales performance optimization.
  • Proficiency in sales analytics and reporting tools to drive data-driven solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field.
  • Experience in mortgage insurance underwriting, and product knowledge is highly preferred.
  • English / French bilingual skill is an asset.

This position requires work from our Oakville office but offers a flexible hybrid work model that allows employees to work remotely from their home office.
