What you will do:
The Email Coordinator performs a variety of different design roles for the team. They are a key resource to support the creation and delivery of emails for all Cineplex brands. The Email Coordinator uses templates and predetermined brand elements to put emails together on a daily basis. They ingest assets, translations, copy and bring it all together in our tools. The Email Coordinator creates dynamic content to push emails further and keeping them cutting edge. The Email Coordinator is fluid in HTML5 code and can assist on other deliverables on an as-needed basis to assist colleagues on the team. The Email Coordinator’s flexible skillset also allows us to always stay on trend and keep the ways we communicate to guests modern and up-to-date.
This is a hybrid position (3 days in-office weekly) based at our Toronto office located at 1303 Yonge St.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creates and codes interactive and responsive emails for studios, campaigns and marketing activities for all our brands leveraging templates and pre-determined looks & feels.
- Ideates and creates unique, original, moving and animated and ownable email experiences for all of our brands to stay modern, and leverages the latest techniques and technologies
- Assists in HTML5 work for various deliverables as needed for creative team
- Participates and contributes to creative brainstorming sessions with the creative team
- Organizes working files and ensures folders and layers are clean and named for easy use in the future
What You Will Need:
- Post-secondary education with focus on Design, Video Production, New Media or Web Design
- Registered Graphic Designer designation is an asset
- 1-3 years of hands on experience in Adobe Creative suite
- Comfortable working with emails and content management systems
- Comfortable coding HTML5
- Comfortable with Email Platform Systems
- Ability to listen and interpret feedback and come up with creative solutions
- Ability to manage and work on multiple projects at the same time and with tight deadlines
