What you will do:

Have you ever watched a movie and realized the real magic wasn’t just on the screen — it was behind the scenes, where coordination, timing, and creative vision come together to tell a compelling story?

That’s the kind of leadership we’re looking for.

We’re hiring a Senior Creative Manager to help guide and operationalize our award-winning in-house agency. This role sits at the heart of the creative department — orchestrating project intake, timelines, resourcing, and team process. You’ll make sure briefs are clear, priorities are aligned, and every creative project gets the structure it needs to succeed.

We work across some of Canada’s most iconic entertainment brands — Cineplex, The Rec Room, Playdium — and we’re not slowing down. We need someone who thrives on building systems, seeing the big picture, and helping the team operate at its best. Plus, did we mention this gig comes with free movies, popcorn and video games?

This is a hybrid position (3 days in-office weekly) based at our Toronto office located at 1303 Yonge St. This is a contract position to December 2026.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and prioritize the creative workflow across the team by leading the end-to-end management of large creative projects — including brief intake, project kickoff, WBS creation, resource planning, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and final delivery.
  • Review incoming creative briefs to ensure they’re complete, aligned with business goals, and actionable

  • Improve and evolve team processes, tools, and operations to drive greater clarity and creative efficiency
  • Explore the use of AI tools and automation to streamline workflows and enhance production output
  • Bring visibility and accountability to how time and resources are being used — and continuously find smarter ways to work

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of direct experience in project or traffic management within a creative agency or in-house team
  • 5+ years managing creative team members or leading operational functions
  • Hands-on experience with Workfront (or equivalent project management system), ideally in an admin or super-user role
  • Strong organizational and process-building skills
  • Familiarity with creative workflows, formats, and the production lifecycle
  • Excellent communicator who can bridge creative and business teams with clarity and empathy
  • Strategic thinker with a knack for anticipating issues and solving them before they become problems
  • An openness to change — especially when it comes to integrating new tools and technologies (like AI) into the creative process
