As a Credit Analyst, you’ll play a key role in evaluating and managing credit applications for RRSP and investment loans, while supporting advisors and clients throughout the process. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, contributing to operational excellence and helping shape the credit function with your insights and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze credit applications for RRSP and investment loans.
- Approve RRSP loan requests within authorized limits.
- Communicate credit decisions to advisors.
- Manage collections for delinquent accounts and transaction errors.
- Liaise with advisors and clients during the collections process.
- Provide support to customer service and business lines on credit and collections matters.
- Train team members on specific tasks and processes.
- Maintain and update documentation, and create new materials as needed.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of transactional processes and systems in individual savings (an asset).
- Understanding of credit principles (an asset).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
- Comfort working with IT systems.
- An advanced knowledge of English is required, as the person will need to communicate in both French and English - via email, phone, and videoconference - with internal and external unilingual English-speaking teams on a daily basis.
