The Township of St. Clair is currently seeking five (5) motivated summer students for Parks & Recreation Student positions (Sportsfield, Campground, & Parks) within the Community Services Department.

Under the supervision of the Crew Leader, Community Services, Parks & Recreation staff will work efficiently to bring an exceptional level of service to our parks, sportsfields, and campgrounds, while interacting positively with the public. These positions perform a variety of general maintenance and clean-up duties to ensure our parks, sportsfields, and campgrounds are enjoyed by the community and community visitors.

Education and Qualifications:
Qualifications will include a valid Class G2 or G Ontario driver’s license with an acceptable abstract. A Grade 12 diploma will be considered an asset.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong safety attitude and always demonstrate safe work practices, follow instructions well, showcase excellent teamworking skills and communicate effectively, in a professional manner.

These positions are for the 2026 summer student season within the Community Services Department. The rate of pay will range from $17.60 - $20.20 per hour and the candidates will assume a part-time schedule. Hours of work may vary due to weather conditions and workload. Successful candidates will be required to work weekends and will assume a rotating shift schedule.
