About the role

Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

As the line manager, you will lead a team of Scrum Masters, whose primary responsibility is to support Agile product teams to achieve their goals .

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Reporting Relationship : You will report to the Director, Agile Practices

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

  • Be a people manager for Scrum Masters and can perform as a Scrum Master on team or program level
  • Lead the community of Scrum Masters, manage and develop capabilities within their Chapter through coaching, training, and mentoring.
  • Partner with Agile Coaches and Agile COE to support the professional growth and development of Scrum Master's and build a culture of continuous learning, discovery, and accountability.
  • Develop and implement team standards. Review product team requirements and operational needs to ensure efficient operations and support.
  • Oversee the execution and adherence of policies, procedures, and processes, ensuring the strategies and activities are consistent with business objectives and goals.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, and technical lead to ensure the needs of the product team are adequately addressed.
  • Report on team's health and Agile delivery metrics.
  • Partner with Agile Coaches, Chapter Leads, and leadership to establish Agile at Scale practices when there is a need.
  • Manage the structure and people of the Chapter, evaluating the needs of the different teams and organizing support.
  • Collaborate with HR in seeking and recruiting talent.
  • Onboard new team members and ensure they are aware of resources available and standards for their area.
  • Conduct and host community of practice for the community of Scrum Masters.
  • Participate and Contribute to our Agile Transformation Journey and overall agility of the organization.

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP or other related certifications.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience as a Scrum Master.
  • 2+ year of people management experience.
  • 4+ years Agile methodology experience in a large enterprise environment.
  • Excellent facilitation skills.
  • Experience with SAFe, LeSS, or similar frameworks.
  • 3+ years of experience with JIRA, Confluence, Miro and other Agile tools.
  • Experience in the payments industry is an asset.
