Position Title: Elementary General Recruitment - Teaching
Regent Christian Academy Society serves children and families across our campus schools, online school, and early learning programs. As a key division of the Society, Regent Christian Online Academy (RCOA) specializes in partnering with home-learning families to provide a flexible, high-quality K-12 education. We bring the RCAS mission to life as a Provincial Online Learning School, offering innovative onsite and virtual programming across British Columbia. At RCOA, we are dedicated to providing a personalized educational journey that inspires lifelong learning and fosters spiritual growth in every student.
Overview: RCOA is seeking talented, enthusiastic Elementary School Teachers to join our dynamic team. We provide a high-quality, flexible education to British Columbia students and are committed to fostering academic growth and personal development. This is a general recruitment call for educators looking to build their own portfolio of work in a supportive, Christ-centred environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide high-quality instruction and support to Elementary students in a flexible learning environment.
· Serve as a Christ-centred role model for students and families.
· Mentor students and support families throughout their personalized educational journey.
· Collaborate with colleagues to provide innovative onsite and virtual programming.
· Maintain excellent communication and strong organizational skills to manage student progress.
· Participate in ongoing professional growth and development.

Target Start Date: SY 2026/27, Head Count: Multiple, Job Status: Onsite/Remote/Hybrid/Volunteer, Job Type: Full-Time/Part- Time/Occasional/Seasonal/Temporary/Contract, FTE: 0.2 – 1.0 (Various Positions Available), Work Location: Varies
**Compensation & Benefits: **Pay: CA $ 5,000 - 80,000 annually and/or Benefits: Extended Health & Dental, Pension plan available upon eligibility.
As a faith-based educational institution, RCAS hires staff whose beliefs and conduct align with our Christian mission, values, and Statement of Faith. This role requires a genuine and reasonable occupational requirement (GOR) for the employee to affirm and support RCAS’s Christian beliefs and actively participate in a Christian church community. RCAS is committed to fair and equitable hiring practices within the scope of this requirement. Qualified candidates who meet these criteria are encouraged to apply.
Requirements & Qualifications:
· Education: Teacher certification by the B.C. Teacher Regulation Branch or the Office of the Inspector of Independent Schools is required.
· Faith Requirement: Applicants must be Christian and must agree with RCOA’s Statement of Faith.
· Church Participation: This role requires the employee to affirm and support RCAS’s Christian beliefs and actively participate in a Christian church community.
· Experience: Experience and education related to working with students in Online Learning is an asset but not required.
· Travel: For applicable roles , successful candidates are required to participate in Professional Development 3-4 times per year. Dates for the 2026-27 school year are: New Teacher Training (Virtual) - August 28, Orientation In Person (Mainland) - September 1, Orientation (Virtual) - September 2, Collaboration #1 (Virtual) - Elementary: November 12, High School: November 18 (3:00 - 7:00 p.m.) and Collaboration #2 (Virtual or In- person) - Elementary: February 17, High School: February 18 (3:00 - 7:00 p.m.).
