Advanced Shop-Based Facility
Innisfail, Alberta
Bilton Welding & Manufacturing Ltd. is seekingIndustrial Coaters and Sandblastersto join our team at our shop in Innisfail, Alberta.
We operate one of Western Canada’s most advanced industrial blasting and coating facilities and are the only licensed shop in the region capable of executing this scale and diversity of coating systems under one roof.
Bilton offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-spec coating projects while maintaining a consistent schedule, opportunities for overtime, and strong work-life balance. Our planning, facility, and equipment allow skilled tradespeople to focus on execution and quality.
Sandblaster Wage:$24–$28/hour (based on experience)
Industrial Coater Wage:$32–$40/hour (based on experience & certifications)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Overtime: Minimum 10 hours/day and up to 6 days per week as required.

Industrial Coater Responsibilities
- Internal and external coatings for large tanks, vessels, piping, and structural steel
- Application of advanced coating systems including:
- 100% solids and solvent-based coatings
- Rubber linings and reinforced fiberglass laminates
- Passive fire protection systems
- Polyurea’s, polyurethane spray foam, and specialty coatings
- All work completed in a controlled indoor facility with advanced curing, air supply, and dust collection systems
Sandblaster Responsibilities
- Mask skids for sandblasting and painting.
- Clean and prepare skids for painting.
- Shovel and/or pour abrasives such as sand or grit into the machine hopper
- Mask specific areas of object to protect from abrading actions
- Examine finished product to ensure conformance to specifications
- Report all non-conforming material to the department Supervisor
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience in industrial blasting, coating, or similar manufacturing environments preferred
- Knowledge of surface preparation and industrial coating processes
- Ability to apply coatings using airless and/or plural-component spray equipment
- NACE or SSPC certification considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and quality
