We are hiring aFood & Beverage Director!
We are seeking a dynamic and experiencedDirector of Food & Beverageto lead and oversee all aspects of our restaurant, banquet, and kitchen operations. As a key member of the hotel’s executive leadership team, you will be responsible for driving excellence in guest experience, team performance, and financial results. You will bring creativity, leadership, and a passion for hospitality to ensure our food and beverage offerings exceed expectations and align with Hilton standards.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Develop and execute short- and long-term financial and operational plans aligned with hotel objectives.
- Collaborate with the Executive Committee to shape high-level strategies and policies.
- Lead the implementation of Hilton programs, tools, and brand standards.
- Regularly review and adjust strategies to meet evolving business needs.
Operational Excellence
- Direct all F&B outlets including restaurant, banquet, and kitchen operations.
- Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, health and safety regulations, and SOPs.
- Oversee menu development, food presentation, and quality control.
- Monitor and manage cost controls, inventory, and Micros POS systems.
- Ensure superior cleanliness, service, and guest satisfaction across all outlets.
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate department heads and team members.
- Foster a culture of empowerment, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Lead performance management, coaching, and succession planning.
- Promote interdepartmental collaboration and communication.
Guest Experience & Community Engagement
- Champion Hilton’s “Make It Right” service culture.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Develop local community relationships and represent the hotel in civic and industry events.
- Leverage social media and marketing initiatives to enhance visibility and engagement.
Financial Management
- Create and manage annual budgets for all F&B departments.
- Analyze financial reports and KPIs to drive revenue and profitability.
- Implement innovative promotions and revenue-generating programs.
- Ensure departments operate within approved budgets and forecast targets.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of senior F&B management experience in a hotel environment.
- Proven track record in team leadership, guest satisfaction, and financial performance.
- Strong knowledge of Micros POS, inventory control, and hotel systems (Hilton OnQ preferred).
- Smart Serve certification required.
- University degree or college diploma in Hospitality or related field is an asset.
- Bilingual (English/French) preferred.
- Creative, organized, and passionate about food, service, and people.
