Position Overview
TAC Sports is seeking an experienced, motivated, and professional Tennis Professional to join our coaching team. This role is designed for a coach who is passionate about player development, program excellence, and long-term athlete growth, and who takes pride in delivering structured, high-quality tennis instruction in a positive and inclusive environment.
The professional tennis coach will play a key role in the delivery and growth of TAC Sports’ tennis programming, working with junior and adult players across all skill levels, from beginner fundamentals to advanced training. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, effective teaching methods, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with athletes and families.
The Role
You will lead private and group programming across junior and adult pathways, delivering sessions that are:
- Technically detailed and developmentally structured
- Aligned with Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) principles
- Focused on measurable progression and player confidence
- Adaptable to recreational, competitive, and high-performance athletes
You will also play a key role in shaping program quality, contributing to pathway structure, and elevating overall coaching standards.

The Profile We’re Looking For
- Certified through Tennis Canada, Professional Tennis Registry (PTR), United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA), or equivalent
- 2–5+ years coaching experience (junior and/or adult development)
- Strong technical foundation in stroke production, footwork, and tactical development
- Experience working with competitive players or development pathways is an asset
- Confident communicator with athletes and parents
- Professional, organized, and growth-oriented

With a low instructor to student ratio, students receive personalized development plans and constant feedback throughout the program. Our unique team of coaches provide a nurturing and fun environment which will ensure that your sports star is excited about coming back.
