DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

" Develops individual orientation schedules including sessions dates and times and provides to hire along with General Orientation information and instructions;
" Ensures Manager, Clinical Practice Leader and Staffing are provided orientation schedules and onboarding checklists for newly hired staff;
" Revises and reschedules sessions as required, ensuring all stakeholders are notified of changes;
" Liaise with IT, IPP and Occupational Health to ensure that there are no conflicts between sessions and that an appropriate number of sessions are available each month;
" Organize room bookings according to training needs;
" Monitors session numbers and proactively request additional sessions as required;
" Updates spreadsheets as required with dates, maximum participants etc.;
" Acts as first point of contact for staff that have orientation and onboarding questions (log-in, schedules, orientation etc.) and directs new hire to appropriate resources as required;
" Track compliance with eLearning modules and follow-up with managers to address non-compliance;
" Maintains up to date list of Orientation requirements for positions;
" Maintains new hire information page on external site and the Wave including updating links and information;
" Administer feedback surveys and contact managers as post-onboarding check-in milestones are reached;
" Prepare lists of new hires for various communications, such as the monthly CEO welcome memo;
" Ensure eLearning modules are kept up-to-date by liaising with stakeholders for ongoing review/edits; and
" Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

" Post-Secondary Diploma in Office Administration, Human Resources, Business Administration or other relevant Diploma required;
" Recent administrative experience;
" Experience in a hospital environment preferred;
" Superior customer service and interpersonal skills;
" Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically with Word and Excel;
" Proven ability to function as a supportive team member;
" Proven ability to adhere to a high standard of confidentiality;
" Proven ability to work productively and independently with frequent interruptions;
" Proven ability to assess inquiries and problems and to exercise good judgment in making the appropriate referrals;
" Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills;
" Proven administrative skills and the ability to organize and prioritize work effectively to meet deadlines;
" Demonstrated attention to detail;
" Must have satisfactory performance record;
" Demonstrated commitment to our core values of Inclusion, Compassion, Innovation, Teamwork and Joy; and
" Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to Lakeridge Health's comprehensive safety programs and practices including staff, patient and environmental safety and participation in regular in-services in this area.
