We are looking for a Technical Director to help build and lead the Franchise Features team that will own social and competitive features for the Battlefield franchise. You will work directly with the Battlefield 6 Technical Director. We are looking for you to build the technical strategy that helps us deliver a compelling social and competitive experience for Battlefield players for years to come.
Responsibilities:
- Build, lead and manage the Franchise Features technical team
- Define and deliver the technical requirements for social and competitive features
- Work hands on with the team and ensure code architecture and guidelines are in place
- Build long term technical strategy for these areas across current and future Battlefield titles
- Collaborate and drive alignment with technical partners across Battlefield Studios and EA
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience
- Experience in large scale, Live Service environments
- Online and UI/UX experience
- Advanced C/C++ skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Passionate about mentoring and developing engineers at all levels
- Self-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and quality
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
