Salary range of $51,000 to $58,000
Full Time Hours (Average 4-5 shifts per week)
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
As a key member of our retail leadership team, the Assistant Manager, Retail helps set the tone for unforgettable guest experiences - on and off the slopes. You're the kind of leader who brings purpose, positivity, and a sense of fun to every shift, inspiring your team to deliver the kind of service that keeps guests coming back season after season. In this role, you'll keep our retail operations running smoothly each day by providing guidance and managing the product life cycle.

Overseeing and supporting the retail team, including Supervisors, Store Leads and Retail Sales Associates.

Collaborating across the department to manage the product lifecycle, optimizing sales, maximizing margin, and minimizing surplus or aged inventory.

Implementing and manage standard operating procedures of the department, always looking for opportunity to improve performance and efficiency.

Driving employee engagement and team development by leading through example, delivering ongoing feedback, and fostering a positive, guest-focused culture aligned with Blue Mountain values.

Monitoring sales performance, labour utilization, and key retail metrics, taking proactive action to achieve financial and service targets.

Championing the Guest Experience Strategy (GES) and Net Promoter Score (NPS) performance by enhancing service delivery, resolving guest concerns effectively, and creating memorable retail experiences.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

Advanced retail/sales knowledge is an asset.

Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.

Previous experience in a Retail Environment.

Flexibility to work which includes weekends, evenings, holidays - we're all about teamwork and good vibes.

Ability to communicate, solve problems, strong decision-making skills and attention to detail.
