What you'll be doing

The Manager of Digital Sales will oversee and coordinate a cross-functional team responsible for the execution of Simplii’s mass and targeted digital client journeys, with a focus on delivering seamless end-to-end digital experiences. This role will lead collaborative group discovery sessions, transforming innovative concepts into best-in-class, personalized digital communication journeys. Leveraging the expertise of a multidisciplinary team and utilizing data-driven insights, the Manager will be accountable for mapping the client journey, designing and executing robust testing strategies, and optimizing incrementality to ensure continuous improvement of the digital experience. Responsibilities include planning and executing experiments, measuring incremental impact, and refining journeys based on rigorous analysis.

How you'll succeed

  • Implement industry-leading strategies to increase digital sales, deepen client relationships, and enhance digital engagement. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, a passion for innovation, and a proven ability to deliver measurable results in a dynamic digital environment, along with excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Lead the execution of digital marketing journeys by working collaboratively with an agile delivery pod to translate the goals of business partners into tangible output; including Growth, Product, Marketing Communications, Analytics & Insights, and Optimization teams, to increase digital sales and deepen relationships with clients, while maintaining direct accountability for digital P&L performance.
  • Provide strategic direction to design and build robust digital marketing communications and intricate client journeys to increase digital adoption and engagement, supporting large scope and high priority campaign initiatives across key product portfolios.
  • Drive the best client experience using tools, such as Braze, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Manager, Ada LLM Chatbot, and our Offer Management System (OMS), while meeting business and sales targets.
  • Have a deep understanding of Marketing Technology and platforms to provide strategic direction and recommendations on campaign direction as Digital subject matter expert and propose innovative strategies and ideas to enhance client journeys and re-targeting efforts to ensure campaigns meet growth objectives and product goals.
  • Analyze and track reports and dashboards, leveraging tools such as Adobe Analytics, Funnel.io, and Power BI, to identify learnings from past campaigns, digital marketing best practices, and generate data driven insights to provide recommendations to improve overall digital marketing campaign performance and document best practices
  • Create in-depth post campaign analysis reporting and present to key partners on performance and recommendations for future iterations, optimizations and act as key point of contact and subject matter expert among internal and external business partners and stakeholders, including Legal and third-party partners, effectively manage partner expectations, and resolve misunderstandings to ensure successful campaign execution
  • Identify process improvements to increase operational efficiency and oversight in campaign planning and execution and work with leaders to implement and train, guide, and mentor new team members, while supporting more junior Leads/co-ops through campaign delivery complexities and strategic recommendations where needed
  • Create and manage functional relationships with Simplii teams; Digital Sales & Growth, Optimization, Analytics/Insights, Product, Technology, Customer Experience, and Operations teams to ensure campaigns meet growth objectives and business goals
  • Build relationship with other CIBC teams including Marketing Communications, Brand, Contact Center, Technology, and potential vendors to ensure all Simplii partners are supported

Who you are

  • You can demonstrate 3-5 years of work experience in Digital Marketing or Project Management. It’s an asset if you have experience with agile delivery (including tools, platforms, operating model)
