Position Overview

As aClient Transportation Driver, you play a vital role in helping clients maintain their social well-being and independence. You will provide safe, professional, and engaging transportation services, ensuring clients feel comfortable, respected, and cared for.

This is an independent contractor role, ideal for compassionate and responsible individuals with a well-maintained vehicle and appropriate insurance coverage for transporting paying clients.

Key Responsibilities

Client Transportation & Support

• Provide safe and reliable transportation to and from medical appointments, grocery stores, pharmacies, social gatherings, and community events.
• Assist clients in and out of the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Offer light assistance as needed (e.g., carrying groceries, handling mobility aids like walkers, canes, or wheelchairs).
• Ensure on-time pick-ups and drop-offs, respecting clients’ schedules and needs.

Safety & Compliance

• Maintain commercial auto insurance coverage for transporting paying clients (proof required).
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure secure travel.
• Keep a clean, well-maintained, and fully insured vehicle.
• Adhere toNurse Next Door Mississauga – Conciergepolicies on client safety, privacy, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any client concerns or mobility issues to our Care Team.

Client Engagement & Happier Aging

• Provide friendly and engaging conversation to enhance the travel experience.
• Encourage clients to stay socially active and connected through outings.
• Uphold ourHappier Agingphilosophy by making each trip a positive, personalized experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid Ontario driver’s license (Class G) and clean driving record.
• Fully insured personal vehicle in excellent working condition.
• Commercial insurance coverage for transporting paying clients (proof required).
• Ability to assist clients with mobility challenges, including handling walkers and other assistive devices.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor when working with seniors.
• Strong time management and reliability.
• Excellent communication skills to provide a premium client experience.
• CPR and First Aid Certification (preferred but not required).
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Screening (criminal background check).
