About the role

Our industry-leading client is a national distributor of specialized industrial products. With a history of strategic growth and strong leadership, this high-profile distributor wants to add to their Inside Sales Team in Ontario, to further support and grow a well-established customer base. You will be trained to sell products to their clients in the growing electrification segment.

As an integral part of the sales team, you will assist with customer relationship management, quotations, follow-up, and expediting of critical and time-sensitive orders. You will get hands-on experience with diverse products, help with the daily service of key accounts attached to the branch, and learn the fundamentals of the business, customers, and product lines.

We are searching for individuals who demonstrate initiative, enjoy the challenge of solving problems, and have the ability to work within a sales team in an industrial distribution environment. You will receive on-the-job training from a team of highly experienced professionals in this focused segment. The right attitude, drive, and willingness to be trained are essential.

Specifically, the successful candidate will have:

  • 2-3 years of inside sales and customer relationship management experience, preferably from the industrial distribution industry
  • the desire to support business within established and new accounts
  • a proven record of relationship management and working within a sales team
  • strong organizational and analytical skills
