About the Role

The Clerical position is part of the Commercial Merchandising team and supports key administrative and operational functions within the facility. This role requires proficiency across multiple clerical systems and functions, including payroll, accounts payable, grain settlements, contract entry, and plant operations support.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, analytical, self-directed, and capable of handling complex clerical and operational responsibilities with minimal supervision.

What You’ll Do

  • Process and maintain payroll and personnel data records
  • Support Attendance Enterprise and plant payroll administration
  • Perform accounts payable and invoice entry functions
  • Enter grain settlements, contracts, and orders for oil and grain products
  • Create and manage purchase orders through MAXIMO
  • Support document scanning, filing, and records retention processes
  • Provide customer service and clerical support across departments
  • Assist with project coordination and administrative initiatives
  • Resolve complex clerical and operational issues independently
  • Cross-train and provide support in multiple clerical areas as needed
  • Perform general office duties including phones, filing, and correspondence

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Payroll and accounts payable experience preferred
  • Experience in an industrial, agricultural, or manufacturing environment is considered an asset

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Frequent keyboard and telephone use
  • Ability to stand, bend, and kneel as required
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Basic math and calculator skills required
