Position Summary
The Systems & Automation Specialist ensures corporate data systems are reliable, efficient, and well-integrated. This role manages daily systems administration, builds automation workflows, and supports Finance and Operations with data connections and reporting improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage system access, permissions, configurations, and integrations across ERP, HRIS, CRM, and other systems
- Build and maintain Power Automate workflows to streamline reporting and approvals
- Support Power BI datasets and maintain data quality
- Troubleshoot system or data issues in coordination with IT
- Identify opportunities to improve automation, integration, and reporting efficiency
- Document system processes and workflows for consistency and scalability
Skills and Abilities
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Power Automate, Power BI, and Excel
- Understanding of finance and accounting concepts
- Project management: ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple initiatives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter, adaptable, and able to work independently or in a team setting
- Service-oriented, responsive, and attentive to user needs
- Continuous improvement mindset with technical curiosity
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in systems support, automation, or data operations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Power Automate, Power BI, and Excel
- Ability to manage time effectively and work under limited supervision
- Limited travel may be required
