Location: Division-Wide – Buffalo Trail Public Schools (based out of Central Services in Wainwright, Alberta)
Assignment: Innovation Coach – Learning Services
Contract Type: Probationary, Full-Time
FTE: 1.0
Reporting To: Assistant Superintendent of Learning
What You'll Do
As an Innovation Coach, your mission is to be a partner in the field. You'll travel throughout our vibrant BTPS community, working side-by-side with teachers to elevate the art of instruction. Your days will be filled with:
- Instructional Strategist: Leading the charge in division-wide planning and curriculum design. You'll help teachers move from "good" to "great" through meticulous planning and high-impact instructional strategies.
- Math Coach: Bringing your excellent understanding of secondary-level mathematics to help teachers bridge gaps and ignite a love for logic and problem-solving in students.
- Instructional Co-pilot: Rolling up your sleeves to co-design lessons, model best practices, and provide the kind of supportive peer feedback that helps educators thrive.
- Indigenous Education Innovation Coach: Championing Indigenous learning leads. Whether you come with deep experience or a heartfelt willingness to learn, you will play a key role in supporting Indigenous perspectives and success within our schools.
- Tech-Forward Learning: Using tools like Google Suite to create modern, engaging learning opportunities.
