Delivery Specialist – Nissan INFINITI Richmond

Delivery Specialists play a pivotal role in shaping every customer's final impression of their vehicle-buying journey. You will be responsible for coordinating, preparing, and executing the entire delivery process—from scheduling appointments, to ensuring vehicles are fully ready, to providing a confident and polished walkthrough of every feature and function.

We are seeking a customer-focused, energetic, and highly organized team player who is passionate about delivering excellence. This is a full-time, on-site position located at Nissan INFINITI Richmond.

Role & Responsibilities

1. Delivery Preparation

  • Coordinate vehicle preparation, detailing, accessory installation, PDI, and staging.
  • Inspect every vehicle for accuracy, cleanliness, and readiness before customer arrival.
  • Review due bills, work orders, and contract details to ensure everything matches customer expectations.

2. Customer Scheduling & Communication

  • Contact customers to book delivery appointments and explain what to expect during the visit.
  • Provide timely updates on vehicle readiness and resolve scheduling issues proactively.
  • Represent the Applewood brand with professionalism and exceptional customer service.

3. Delivery Walkthrough

  • Conduct full feature presentations, including infotainment setup, Bluetooth, CarPlay, safety systems, drive modes, climate settings, and navigation.
  • Assist customers with NissanConnect / INFINITI InTouch setup.
  • Review ownership essentials such as warranty, service intervals, and roadside assistance.
  • Ensure customers leave confident, supported, and excited about their new vehicle.

4. Documentation & Administration

  • Prepare delivery files, plates, keys, manuals, and required materials.
  • Complete delivery checklists, customer sign-offs, and CRM updates.
  • Track delivery metrics and assist with internal reporting.

5. Customer Experience

  • Support next-day customer follow-ups to ensure satisfaction.
  • Assist with any concerns during the handover and escalate appropriately.

6. Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with General Manager, General Sales Manager, Brand Concierges/Account Executives, Sales Managers, Finance Managers, Service, Parts, and Detailing to ensure smooth, timely deliveries.
  • Communicate delivery status updates and resolve issues quickly.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements for the delivery department.

Measurables

On-Time Delivery Rate: Consistently delivering vehicles at the scheduled time is crucial for customer satisfaction and operational flow.

Delivery Quality Score: Measured through customer surveys, this reflects how well-equipped, informed, and confident customers feel after the delivery experience.

Checklist Accuracy: Ensuring 100% accuracy in delivery documentation, sign-offs, and CRM updates.

Customer Satisfaction: Follow-up feedback on communication, professionalism, and the quality of the delivery walkthrough.

Operational Efficiency: Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple delivery timelines, resolve issues quickly, and minimize delays or rework.

Must Be Proficient In:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational excellence
  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
  • Comfort with automotive technology and willingness to learn advanced features
  • Basic CRM or dealership management system experience (an asset)
  • Professionalism, customer empathy, and a passion for providing exceptional service
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Service, Parts, and Detailing teams

Compensation

The compensation for the Delivery Specialist position at Nissan INFINITI Richmond includes:

  • $2,000 base salary per month, plus
  • $50 for each successful vehicle delivery, taken from the Brand Concierge/Account Executive’s commission.

Total compensation may vary depending on delivery volume and performance.
