Job Summary
The HR Data Analyst is a temporary role that has been created to support the HR department’s strategic capabilities through in-depth data analysis and workforce planning. This role focuses primarily on data mining, identifying gaps in records, data accuracy audits of historical data, analyzing and interpreting workforce data to support strategic planning, improve organizational development, and optimize workforce strategies.
The position aims to provide support to the Data Analytics team in building templates using current technology and informatics to measure KPIs with the HR functions such as employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and organizational development until the organization implements a HCM system that supports these capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development of Current and Ongoing Reporting Templates

o Assist the Manager, HR Analytics & Workforce Planning to establish reporting templates to monitor and improve data quality, ensuring accuracy, consistency for ongoing reports.
o Work with Manager, HR Analytics & Workforce Planning to identify opportunities to optimize current reporting structures and promote self-service analytics.
o Review current reports and automate manual data entry processes wherever possible using macros and algorithms that improve efficiency and data accuracy.

  • Future Reporting and Analytics for 2026 and beyond

o Assist the Manager, HR Analytics & Workforce Planning in meeting the following deliverables:
o Design and create Power BI dashboards, executive presentations, and ad-hoc reports, providing insights on key HR metrics. Ensure the delivery of predictive analytics and actionable recommendations to drive data-driven decisions across the organization.
o Conduct in-depth analyses of HR data to identify trends, anomalies, and forecasts
o Translate complex data insights into recommendations that influence talent management, workforce planning, and strategic decision-making. across the organization.

Skills and Experience
o Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., data management, information technology, data analytics, business analytics, informatics).
o Advanced certification in data analysis or HR analytics (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
o Proficiency in data manipulation languages like SQL
o Familiarity with data cleansing tools and platforms
o Programming skills (Python, R) can be beneficial.
o Working knowledge of cloud computing platforms. MS Azure preferred (Microsoft Synapse, Azure Data factory, Azure Data Lake, Power BI, Tableau)
o Expert in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
o Analytical skills: Ability to identify data quality issues and develop solutions to address them
o Attention to detail: High accuracy in identifying and correcting data errors
o Problem-solving skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex data quality issues
o Communication skills: Effectively communicating data quality findings to stakeholders
