About the role
Join our team as a Recruiter! In this role, you’ll support our teams from coast to coast, the USA and our Home Office teams. You’ll play a key part in the hiring process by posting job opportunities, conducting phone screens, coordinating interviews, generating and presenting conditional offer letters and managing background checks, ensuring a positive experience for candidates and hiring teams.
The ideal candidate will be based in our Home Office, located in Calgary.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Managing incoming recruitment ticket requests
- Creating and posting job opportunities
- Conducting intake meetings with hiring managers to align on role qualifications and requirements
- Scheduling and conducting phone screens and coordinating interviews
- Generating and presenting conditional offers to candidates
- Processing and monitoring background checks
- Providing timely updates to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
- Supporting our hiring team by providing coaching, guidance, and assistance throughout the recruitment process as needed
- Maintaining the status of job applicants in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Closing requisitions and providing candidates with updates
- Proactively sourcing and connecting with candidates through LinkedIn, and other channels
- Developing strong relationships across teams and with candidates, promoting our story and creating an engaging candidate experience
As The Successful Candidate You Have
- 1-2 years experience in a recruiting environment
- Experience using an ATS (UKG is considered an asset)
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter
- Proven ability to proactively build strong relationships at all levels of the organization
- Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing a diverse workload
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self motivated with the ability to work independently
- Collaborating effectively with team members across departments, fostering a positive and supportive work environment
- Bilingualism English/French is considered an asset
