Job Description Subject matter expert for product data publication management from data creation and modification to publication. This role is responsible to ensure qualitative & timely availability of product information required by our customers and consumers.

  • This role can either be in East Hanover, NJ or Toronto, CA, following a hybrid work schedule

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the review and syndication of product content via information management system PIM. Including key logistical information, product label information, packaging updates, product claims, images, and enhanced marketing content.

  • Track, monitor and report on new creations, changes, delisting and E2E data object creation to ensure correctness and completeness

  • Collaborate with stakeholders from source systems to ensure accuracy of product content within PIM.

  • Master Data Governance (MDG & ECC)

  • Product Lifecyle Management (PLM)

  • Data Asset Management (DAM)

  • Partner with content owners to increase product content quality and remove barriers to execution

  • Error resolution management (data inconsistencies)

  • Partner with stakeholders to anticipate syndication needs

  • Troubleshooting of publication issues, working with content owners and product solution owners to ensure roadblocks are resolved

  • Respond to inquiries and requests for information in a timely manner

  • Support in driving Data Publication best practice standards

  • Support data analysts and business functions in issue solving, customer complaints and production issues

  • Support continuous improvement projects in data publication, quality and processes

  • Share best practice with Data Analysts and cross-functional teams delivering data for publishing

  • Aid to ensure data shared with customers and consumers follow local regulation (i.e. FDA, Health Canada)

  • Support best practice sharing and training of GTIN regulations and GS1 product measurement rules

  • Collaborate with IT, Product Solution Owners, Governance, and Sales teams to scale up and optimize syndication

  • Help ensure stored data is easily accessible to internal and external teams

More About This Role Knowledge, Experience, Education and Skills

  • 3+ years of data management/systems experience preferably in a remote & x-functional context
  • Experience in Customer & Consumer relations
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in product content syndication
  • Experience utilizing retailer systems/portals and PIMs (ie. Informatica PIM, Salsify etc.) is preferable
  • Experience utilizing certified data pools (ie. 1WS, ProSYNC)
  • Detail-oriented with strong collaboration and prioritization skills
  • Ability to handle complexity and manage fine details
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Passion for the evolving digital landscape and an interest in learning new technologies
  • Experience in working in a service function
  • Excellent communicator (oral&writing) in English
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Driven and results oriented
  • Degree in Data Management, IT, Computer Science or equivalent

Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $73,900 to $101,650; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
