Job Title: Project Control Officer Location: Toronto, ON(REMOTE) Duration: 9 Months (With Possible Extension) Client: Public Sector Pay Rate: CAD $50-$55 per hour
Must Have
Experience collaborating with various groups to gather updates and maintaining project budgeting, progress reporting, action items, risk management updates, etc. Experience working alongside project managers to provide updates, escalate where required, identify risks, and lead project document deliverables Experience in business analysis and interactions, maintaining communication with end users/clients.
Experience coordinating and tracking user acceptance testing activities
Roles and Responsibilities
General Skills: -
Experience collaborating with various groups to gather updates and maintaining project budgeting, progress reporting, action items, risk management updates, etc. Experience working alongside project managers to provide updates, escalate where required, identify risks, and lead project document deliverables Experience in business analysis and interactions, maintaining communication with end users/clients. Experience coordinating and tracking user acceptance testing activities. Maintaining high level requirements and documentation. Demonstrated experience working in a professional environment supporting project managers and critical projects. Experience developing project status reports and maintaining and monitoring status reporting logs Experience scheduling meetings Experience monitoring project document repository and ensuring all documents are reviewed and maintained in the repository
Desirable Skills: -
Demonstrated excellent project management software skills and experience e.g. MS Project, Planview, etc. Understanding of basic Project Management concepts (e.g. project goals, risk, scope, participant roles, planning, cost and quality management) Use of AI to assist project artifacts Experience creating and presenting using power point or alternative
