Position Summary Reporting to the Supervisor, Inside Sales, and located 100% on site at 2 Walker Drive, Brampton, Ontario, this position plays a pivotal role in the company acting on behalf of our dealers to provide timely answers to product and code inquiries, ensures accurate processing of quotes, drawings and orders and initiates proactive communication of issues & problems. The position requires that the incumbent act both as a representative and advocate for the Dealer within Savaria Concord Lifts Inc. as well as a spokesperson for Savaria Concord setting realistic expectations and deliverables. The focus is to help ensure the Dealers’ success and to add value to the Dealer’s business which in turn will make Savaria Concord Lifts Inc. successful.
Responsibilities
- Enter, modify, and expedite dealer orders using ERP and online ordering systems
- Provide quotations on Deficiencies, System Upgrades, Moves, Adds & Changes for customers with technical precision and adherence to company pricing standards.
- Create sales orders and ensure prompt and efficient entry of all orders.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding existing product orders.
- Ensure the client’s requests are handled to completion.
- Field incoming dealer calls regarding Savaria products, services, and details.
- Communicate any product/promotional updates to customers.
- Provide product, drawing, and quoting support to educate new and existing dealers.
- Provide product support and help institute Savaria policies to both inside and outside sales representatives.
- Respond to dealers on status of current orders.
- Maintain and expand current customer database.
- As required, attend local trade shows and/or conferences
- Additional duties as requested or required.
Mindset, Skills & Education
- Energetic, eager, tenacious!
- Minimum Two-year college or technical school; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required.
- Proficiency in Multiflex ERP, Microsoft Dynamics, or other ERP systems preferred.
- Assist in managing difficult or emotional dealer customer situations if required.
- Responds promptly to dealer needs and provides feedback to management and the company.
- Solicits dealer feedback to improve service or products.
- Responds to requests for service and assistance.
- Effective communication skills which include speaking clearly, listening and responding in a timely manner to our dealer network.
- Writes clearly and informatively.
- Able to read and interpret written and verbal information.
- Demonstrate knowledge of company products, their application, use, features, benefits, advantages, etc.
- Works with integrity and ethically.
- Is consistently at work and on time.
- Treats others with respect and consideration, regardless of their status or position
- Follows through on commitments.
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
