The ABB Measurement & Analytics plant in Quebec is a global leader in the field of spectroscopy. Our plant is part of the Analytics business line, which develops, manufactures, sells, delivers, and maintains products and solutions to help our customers improve the efficiency and profitability of their operations. We are committed to serving our customers by offering the best solutions to meet their needs quickly and reliably, while providing access to a global service network.
In your role, you will provide general administrative support to the organization, particularly to the local management team. Your work will be carried out in close collaboration with the administrative support team.
The work model is on-site. This is a part-time position during the academic year, with the possibility of full-time work during the summer period. It is a fixed-term contract, which may vary between 3, 6, 9, or 12 months depending on the student's availability.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming and registering visitors (preparing meeting rooms, access cards if needed, meal orders, etc.)
- Preparing, assisting with compiling, proofreading, and editing reports, presentations, organizational charts, or any other relevant documents.
- Preparing internal communications.
- Booking travel arrangements for management team members.
- Supporting the administrative assistants team during peak workloads or vacation periods.
- Any other administrative tasks.
Your profile:
- You are studying in administration and management techniques.
- You have advanced knowledge of computer tools, including the Office Suite (especially Word and PowerPoint).
- You have excellent written communication skills in both French and English. French is required. English is also required to regularly communicate with clients outside Quebec.
- You stand out for your initiative and interpersonal skills.
