In this Assistant Brand Manager Role, you will be responsible for helping build our biggest RTEC portfolio in Canada, aid in the development of long-term strategies, brand plans and bring the plan to life for the consumer and shopper with executional excellence.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Brand-building Programs: Planning and Project Management: You will participate in the development and lead the execution of brand plans and projects that span different consumer touch points across ( but not limited to) innovation, communication, and in-store programs. You will have the opportunity to lead projects on iconic world-class brands, ensuring effective and efficient delivery, on time and within budget.

  • Consumer Insights & Analytics: You will identify & leverage consumer insights, in-market performance from different sources and integrate them well to ensure our brand programs are relevant and impactful.

  • Advertising, Design & Media Agency Relationships: You will work closely with our agency partners to plan and execute brand-building programs across multiple consumer touch points.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: You will collaborate across many functions at WK Kellogg Co (including but not limited to Sales, Wellbeing & Regulatory, Innovation, Finance, Shopper and e-com).

JOB HIGHLIGHTS

  • Full-time, onsite, position in our Mississauga, Canada office

  • Business Travel Requirement expected at 10%

  • Reports directly to Associate Marketing Director

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University undergraduate degree in business or marketing

  • 1-3 years of Brand Marketing experience, related experience in a Consumer-Packaged Goods company

  • Strong ability to analyze data and synthesize key performance drivers with a bias for action to address issues

  • Strong working knowledge of PC applications, including MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)

  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills, combined with strong leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills

  • Proven project management ability with a bias for action and attention to details. Successful experience managing/ leading multiple projects at the same time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA with a focus in marketing
  • Proven P&L analysis/understanding
  • Experience managing cross functional teams without direct line reporting
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure, result-oriented environment
  • Proven marketing research analytics i.e. AC Nielsen
