Tire and Lube Tech/Shop Hand - Western Toyota
About the role
Western Toyota is looking for a Tire and Lube Tech/Shop Hand to join our team on a full time, seasonal basis, starting around mid-September. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a mechanical background, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Typical duties include:

Assist with installation, balancing, and rotating tires on vehicles using appropriate tools and equipment.

Assist with removal of wheel assemblies and dismounting of tires.
-
Perform tire repairs and maintenance services as needed, including patching and replacing tires.
-
Maintain a clean and organized shop area to promote safety and efficiency.
-
Work with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
-
Assist with drive-thru duties.
-
Other duties as required.
Requirements:

Ability to perform heavy lifting as required (consistently lift 75-100 pounds).

Knowledge of tire maintenance practices and automotive repair is an asset.

Mechanical aptitude considered an asset.
-
Proven ability to take direction and work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
-
A valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driver’s abstract.
