About The Role The Senior HR Generalist supports the day-to-day delivery of core human resources services across the employee life cycle. This role partners with managers, employees, and HR colleagues to provide guidance and support in areas including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, leave administration, policy interpretation, employee changes, offboarding, and HR operations.

The Senior HR Generalist helps ensure HR programs and processes are administered consistently, accurately, and in compliance with company policies and applicable laws. This role also supports process improvement, data accuracy, and a positive employee experience.

This role is a member of the Core HR team with members across North America, EMEA, and APAC. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Core HR.

What You'll Do Core HR Support

  • Provide day-to-day HR support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Serve as a point of contact for general HR questions and employee matters.
  • Support the delivery of core HR processes throughout the employee life cycle, including hire, onboarding, employee changes, leave, performance support, and termination.
  • Ensure HR records, employee files, and HRIS data are maintained accurately and timely.
  • Prepare and process HR documentation, including job changes, salary changes, transfer letters, and separation documentation.
  • Partner with internal teams and COEs to ensure smooth execution of HR processes and transactions.

Employee Relations

  • Support employee relations matters by gathering facts, documenting issues, and partnering with HR leadership on appropriate next steps.
  • Provide guidance to managers on employee performance, attendance, conduct, and policy interpretation.
  • Assist with performance improvement processes and other corrective action documentation, as needed.
  • Promote fair, consistent, and respectful application of policies and practices.

Onboarding and Offboarding

  • Coordinate onboarding activities with Coaches, new hires, and the HR Support Hub to ensure a positive new hire experience.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to support new hire readiness and orientation.
  • Manage offboarding processes, including exit documentation, exit surveys, and coordination of separation activities.
  • Track and report exit trends and employee feedback, as appropriate.

Leave And Benefits Administration Support

  • Support employee leave discussions, including coordination of absence team and communication with employees and managers.
  • Provide general support related to benefits and employee questions, referring complex issues to the appropriate subject matter experts.
  • Assist with absence tracking and related documentation.

Performance Management and Employee Development

  • Support annual and ongoing performance management processes.
  • Assist managers with documentation and follow-up related to performance discussions and development plans.
  • Help promote learning and development opportunities available to employees.

HR Operations and Compliance

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Support audits, reporting, and data reviews to ensure HR accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with payroll-related HR changes and ensure timely communication of employee updates impacting payroll.
  • Participate in HR projects, process improvements, and other departmental initiatives.

Basic Qualifications What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 years of progressive HR generalist experience.
  • Experience handling employee relations matters.
  • Experience supporting managers on HR issues.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
  • Experience reviewing AI-generated workplace content for accuracy and compliance prior to use.
  • Experience using data or dashboards to support reporting or process improvement.
  • Experience using HR systems and digital tools.
  • Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience using HR technology, reporting tools, or AI-enabled workplace tools.
  • HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
