About the role
MAIN DUTIES:

Cook, stock/display food per brand requirements. Maintain kitchen pantry and tea/coffee station at a presentable state at all times fostering patrons? breakfast experience and overall hotel stay experience.

Adhere to daily operational procedures and instructions while maintaining positive/pleasant disposition.

Clear/clean tables, clean/vacuum floor & carpet, and maintain obstruction-free passage for guests.
-
Replenish amenities, wash kitchen/food display equipment.
-
Maintain label rotation on perishable items.
-
Monitor inventory of goods and assist breakfast supervisor with ordering new supplies.
-
Understand the correct usage and storage of cleaning agents in line with health and safety regulations and manufacturer?s instructions.

Use and clean equipment with care reporting any defective equipment
-
Push and pull vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash.
-
Carry out shift opening and closing procedures while ensuring proper passage of the information to the hostess of the following day.

Carry out deep cleaning duties as allocated by the Supervisor on duty.

Use linen and terry in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
-
Report all maintenance faults to supervisor of the day.
-
Report lost and found items following the procedures established by the hotel management.

Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.

Perform any other job related duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager on Duty.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES: A candidate must have the ability to communicate in English, be a self-starter with an even disposition. He/she will maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times, and will be communicating with guests in a way to foster great hotel stay experience. We are looking for a colleague who is willing to ?pitch-in? and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. A successful candidate must be aware and/or have basic knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and cleaning equipment. He/she will also be physically fit as standing/walking extended hours is part of the job.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.10 per hour
