About the role

The Royal Glenora Club is seeking an enthusiastic, member-focused Hospitality Supervisor to support our front-of-house team in delivering warm, seamless, and memorable dining experiences.

As a key leader on the floor, you will help set the stage each day ensuring our service environment is polished, efficient, and welcoming. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-centered setting and is ready to develop their leadership skills in a refined, upscale private club environment.

You will play a critical part in fostering a culture of teamwork, trust, and exceptional hospitality while supporting staff in real time and ensuring our members feel valued and well cared for during every visit. This is not a server position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with supervising FOH team members including hosts, bartenders, servers, and expo
  • Build strong relationships with members by learning preferences and anticipating needs
  • Greet members and guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
  • Assist with the daily operational flow of 61 and other FOH dining spaces
  • Support hands-on training to ensure the team understands expectations and service standards
  • Maintain clear, respectful communication with all departments
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings to communicate goals and recognize achievements
  • Assist with timely and thoughtful resolution of member concerns
  • Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, and a member-first mindset
  • Help ensure proper floor coverage and support throughout all service periods
  • Foster a positive work environment built on trust, open communication, and mutual respect
  • Provide real-time coaching and support for staff performance and service execution

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or customer-service leadership
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead by example and support team members effectively
  • A passion for creating warm, memorable guest experiences
  • Confidence in fast-paced environments and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Proserve / alcohol service certification (as applicable)
