About the role

Responsibilities Internal Operations Data Support

  • Conduct detailed analysis and gather requirements through facilitated discussions with internal business groups to define current state of Fund Accounting data and reporting usage.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and define the desired future state.
  • Document business processes, workflows, and reporting requirements.

Client Data Support

  • Analyze and define existing client data and reporting usage patterns for all Fund Accounting clients.
  • Consult with clients on data needs and report access and provide training and support where needed.

Platform Solutions and Insights

  • Understand and deliver solutions developed for and by the Fund Accounting and Administration platform.
  • Identify opportunities for platform enhancements to improve client experience, data usage and reporting efficiency.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing, including tracking and assessing defects, as well as monitoring and reporting testing metrics.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise with internal and external parties to review solution documentation to ensure alignment to business requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including IT and Compliance, to ensure alignment on data governance and reporting standards.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of data governance and reporting standards.

Qualifications

  • University or College graduate in Business or with equivalent practical experience
  • 5-7 years of progressive business analysis experience; knowledge of fund accounting, data analysis and asset servicing
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings clearly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused mindset
  • Ability to build and maintain solid relationships with business and technology partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting software (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI tools)
  • Project planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
