About the Role

A leading AI research initiative is contracting Computer Science PhDs to help advance the development of next-generation large language models (LLMs) . This role involves designing, evaluating, and refining high-quality data and problems that directly shape the reasoning capabilities of state-of-the-art AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review advanced problems, tasks, and datasets across multiple CS domains.
• Evaluate AI model outputs for accuracy, coherence, and domain relevance .
• Collaborate with AI researchers to refine training strategies and benchmarks .
• Provide expert-level insights to improve data quality and task design.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science (AI, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or related fields also considered).
• Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks and AI research methods.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail and academic rigor.
• Prior experience in AI research, teaching, or academic publishing is a plus.

Project Details

• Start Date: Ongoing, rolling applications accepted.
• Time Commitment: 15–20 hours/week (extendable up to 40).
• Duration: Minimum 1–2 months, with possibility of extension.
• Work Style: Fully remote, asynchronous, flexible scheduling.

Compensation & Structure

• Rate: $90–$110 per hour.
• Independent contractor engagement.
• Weekly payouts via Stripe Connect.
