Youth Volunteering Opportunity
Our Eco-Adventure Camp is seeking strong environmental youth volunteers to help create unforgettable experiences filled with exploration and discovery. Our experiential camps engage kids in nature education, wilderness survival skills, and personal growth.
Requirements:

Must be at least 14 years old.

Complete at least one full week of camp (Monday-Friday), between July 6 – September 4, 2026.

Parent/guardian consent required to leave the program independently.

Work with our summer instructors to support kids in both indoor and outdoor spaces.

Sustain physical activity for 8 working hours per day over variable terrain.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds for up to 8 working hours per day.

Help foster confidence, teamwork, and curiosity.
What you’ll gain:
- Hands-on experience working with children ages 5–9 years old.
- Leadership and teamwork skills.
- For 40 hours (1 week) of volunteering you will receive a Season Pass for the 2026-2027 ski and snowboard season. Gift codes to get your pass will be sent out in the shoulder season (September-November) prior to the start of the winter season.
- A shuttle bus is available to transport you to and from the mountain.

About Mt Seymour Resorts Ltd
We are an extended family of passionate skiers and snowboarders who want to share their excitement for winter recreation with families and individuals across the Lower Mainland. Famous as a place to learn and a place to shred terrain parks, Mt Seymour creates new skiers and snowboarders who share lifelong winter memories. We pride ourselves on being independent and answerable only to our guests.
Since 1984, the Wood family has owned and operated Mt Seymour and pride themselves on staying true to the mountain's roots by creating a welcoming, inclusive, family atmosphere and working with community partners such as Backpack Buddies, Vancouver Adaptive Snow Sports, The First Nations Snowboard Team, Take a Hike Foundation and Youth Unlimited.
Located in the Mt Seymour Provincial Park on Ch'ich eliwxih Mountain (also known as Mount Seymour), the ski and snowboard area's proximity to the Pacific Ocean, eastern aspect, and the high base elevation provide an average annual snowfall of over 1,000cm.
Mt Seymour acknowledges that it operates on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including the territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
