About the role

Master, for over 70 years
We've been the HVAC-R leader and one of Canada's Best Managed Companies since 2010. As the country's leading private HVAC-R distributor, we have over 1,400 active employees, operating in more than 55 branches and 3 distribution centers from British Columbia to the Atlantic provinces, as well as 30 branches in the United States.

It's good to work with us
At Master, we offer you a dynamic, stimulating and fun environment. With a firm belief in healthy, open communications, we take a hands-on approach with all our employees. Teamwork is an integral part of our values, and it's through teamwork that we achieve our greatest successes.

We are seeking a passionate and creative IT Solutions Analyst to join a specialized technical team dedicated to building high-quality, innovative, and fully integrated system components that operate as a unified business ecosystem. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and application visionary who will help shape our business application landscape.

The IT Solutions Analyst will collaborate with multiple Product Owners, technical teams, and internal business partners to gather, clarify, and translate requirements into minimal documentation and system designs from which solutions are developed. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of the B2B distribution industry, experience with modern SaaS business systems (e.g., PIM, CRM, pricing tools), and a strong background in B2B e-commerce.

He/she will also demonstrate curiosity and a collaborative mindset toward AI adoption, and actively contribute to evolving our Agile and LEAN practices within the IT development lifecycle.

What you will accomplish with us:

  • Lead the development of requirements: elicitation, analysis, negotiation, validation, and management across a wide range of business and e-commerce applications
  • Promote and implement Agile and LEAN methodologies within the IT group’s daily operations
  • Manage client request analysis, solution design, work planning, and support during acceptance phases
  • Write concise user stories with relevant acceptance criteria using functional decomposition to create a value-driven framework
  • Develop artifacts such as UX models, prototypes, process flows, and business rules to clarify requirements
  • Collaborate with technical teams, QA, and other IT members to resolve scope and operability issues by identifying functional design options
  • Engage stakeholders (internal clients, vendors, technical teams, Product Owners) to identify and resolve gaps or inconsistencies
  • Support Product Owners in maintaining a refined product backlog ready for development
  • Potential to act as Scrum Master within the internal team
  • Partner with the Solution Architect to monitor technological evolution and ensure alignment
  • Lead the selection of appropriate technology solutions based on business needs
  • Track milestones and provide visibility to stakeholders
  • Document issues, manage risks, and develop contingency plans
  • Conduct system testing and support users during transition phases

What You Bring to Our Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 10+ years as an IT Solutions Analyst or Product Specialist, with a focus on software analysis/design/development in e-commerce and SaaS business solutions

  • Proven experience in medium to large-scale software implementation and deployment projects

  • Strong command of Agile and LEAN methodologies and tools such as Jira

  • Deep understanding of B2B distribution and supply chain management

  • Experience conducting gap analyses and cost-benefit documentation

  • Scrum Master experience is a plus

  • Bilingualism (French / English) - Need to interact on a regular basis with our internal and/or external Master Group collaborators across the country.

  • Excellent communication and influencing skill

Competitive Benefits: In addition to a rewarding career within our team, we offer

  • Medical and dental coverage from day one, along with short and long-term disability protection
  • Contribution to a collective registered retirement savings plan upon starting your role.
  • Wellness spending account
  • An employee assistance program including psychological, financial, and legal support.
  • Access to telemedicine from the beginning of your employment.
  • Reimbursement of professional association membership fees.
  • Early vacation program.
  • Flexible remote work policy
