Position Title: Educational Assistant (On-Call)
Regent
Christian Academy Society serves children and families across our campus
schools, online school, and early learning programs. We focus on strong

a central division of the Society, Regent Christian Academy (RCA) is our
flagship campus-based school, serving the community through our Sullivan and
Cloverdale campuses in Surrey, BC. We bring the RCAS mission to life through a
vibrant, in-person learning community where students from Preschool through
Grade 12 engage in rigorous academics, competitive athletics, and the fine
arts. At RCA, we are dedicated to fostering a safe and nurturing environment
where classroom excellence and spiritual mentorship prepare students to lead
and serve with integrity.
Overview: We are looking for a
dedicated and compassionate Educational Assistants (EA) to join our
inclusive learning community. As a BC Ministry-certified Independent Christian
school with a 47-year history, we are committed to providing a nurturing
environment where students are supported academically, socially, and
spiritually.
As an EA at RCA, you
will play a vital role in our classrooms, working alongside teachers to support
students with diverse learning needs and helping them reach their full
potential through a Christ-centered lens.
We are looking for
individuals who would like to grow with us; while this position starts as On-Call,
we are actively looking for team members who may be interested in Part-Time
or Full-Time placements for the next school year
.
Student Support & IEP Assistance:
Support students in achieving goals outlined in their Individual Education
Plans (IEPs) under the guidance of Learning Support Teachers. This includes
facilitating 1:1 or small-group interventions using teacher-prepared materials.
Classroom Collaboration:
Assist classroom teachers in managing classroom dynamics and fostering an
inclusive learning environment. Work collaboratively to implement strategies
that support student engagement.
Personal Care Support:
Provide personal care or hygiene assistance as required to support student
dignity, safety, and inclusion within the school community.
Student Mentorship: Provide spiritual mentorship and
foster a safe environment where students can grow in character and integrity.
Supervision: Ensure student safety during transitions, recess, and
lunch breaks.
Target Start Date: Immediate
Head Count: Multiple
Job Status: Onsite
Job Type: On-Call (with potential
for Part-Time or Full-Time opportunities for the 2026-2027 school year)
Growth Opportunity: While this role begins
as On-Call, there is a clear pathway for successful candidates to transition
into permanent Part-Time or Full-Time positions for the upcoming school year.
Work Location: Sullivan and/or
Cloverdale Campus
Rate: CA $ 20 Hourly

We are currently seeking
candidates for Education Assistant in On-Call opportunities
and who are professionally
prepared and spiritually aligned with the Regent Christian Academy Society
(RCAS) mission:
Professional Training: Hold post-secondary certification as an Educational Assistant or
have equivalent teacher training and familiar with the Ministry of Education
and Child Care EA Competency Framework.
Faith Commitment: Must be an active follower of Jesus Christ and a regular member of
a Bible-believing church community.
Alignment: Must affirm and support the RCAS Statement of Faith and Christian
values.
Documentation: Ability to provide a clear Criminal Record Check and valid First
Aid certification (preferred).
