We are hiring for a Full-Time Barista with a wage range of $15.00-$18.00 at our location in Edmonton, AB. (Glenora location)
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Create a welcoming and inviting environment for customers
- Handling customer inquiries and providing an exceptional customer experience
- Accept order and process payments
- Prepare Starbucks food and drink orders according to standard recipes or customizations
- Maintain an organized, clean, and sanitized work environment
- Properly store and handle food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- Assist Starbucks Manager and Supervisor with:
- Updating signage and displays
- Tracking and replenishing inventory of products and ingredients
What you Bring:
- Warm and welcoming personality focused on hospitality excellence
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Comfortable working during peak food-retail hours (i.e. evenings, daytime, weekends, and holidays)
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods
- Experience in a food preparation and service setting is an asset
- Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
