About the role

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Zone Scheduling Manager and working in collaboration with the Assistant Manager and Scheduling Operations Advisor for the zone or program scheduling offices, this position is responsible for two main streams of work related to; scheduling and time entry. For scheduling; Coordinators will facilitate schedule builds and management which includes organizing for biannual and last‑minute requests, contractual obligations regarding builds and postings, identifying needs, ensuring daily numbers are balanced, and handling changes due to leaves and attrition.  For time entry; Coordinators are responsible for corrections and investigations for their portfolio and working with the managers to ensure accuracy is a priority.

The Coordinator acts as a liaison for the areas they serve, through regular communication and validating their portfolio is up to date related to; contact lists, reporting, auditing, and processes compliance. This role will be key to supporting all employees, managers and teams within the organization keeping a clear focus on service and the organizations mission, vision and values in all their interactions.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Completion of Grade 0 or equivalent
  • Completion of an office administration, business program or other equivalent degree/diploma required. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of two years of related experience in a healthcare or customer services environment
  • Previous experience with staffing and scheduling required
  • Experience working with multiple collective agreements
  • Ability to type 40‑60 WPM
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, LMS, Teams, Smart Sheet, Star, Meditech and SAP
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours

  • Full‑Time, Long‑Assignment; 70 Hours Bi‑weekly
  • Approximately 1 year

Compensation and Benefits

$28.80 - $31.77 hourly

Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long‑term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
