About the Role

We are seeking professional and customer-focused Drivers to join the Niagara Air Bus team, now a proud part of CAA Niagara since 2022. In this role, you are responsible for safely transporting passengers to and from airports, hotels, sightseeing tours, and other destinations across the Niagara Region and beyond.

As a Driver, you are the face of our organization and play a key role in delivering a safe, reliable, and professional transportation experience. You will greet passengers warmly, assist with luggage, and ensure each journey runs smoothly. You will also communicate with dispatch regarding schedules, traffic, and route changes, while maintaining high standards of vehicle cleanliness and safety.

The hourly wage for this role is $18.25.

Key Responsibilities

Passenger Transportation & Safety

  • Safely transport passengers to and from airports, hotels, tours, and other destinations.
  • Ensure passenger safety and comfort throughout each journey.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and transportation regulations.

Customer Service Excellence

  • Provide a professional, welcoming, and courteous experience for all passengers.
  • Assist with loading and unloading luggage up to 50 lbs.
  • Address passenger questions and provide general travel support as needed.

Scheduling & Route Management

  • Follow assigned routes and trip schedules.
  • Adapt to traffic, weather, or operational changes to ensure timely service.
  • Communicate delays or changes to dispatch and passengers.

Vehicle Care & Compliance

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness.
  • Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
  • Maintain compliance with company and insurance requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

Must-Haves (Bona Fide Occupational Requirements)

  • Valid Class G driver’s license or higher (E, B, or C)
  • F Class License, current or willingness to obtain
  • Valid Passport
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Clean driving record meeting company insurance requirements

Experience & Skills

  • Previous professional driving experience (shuttle, taxi, bus, or commercial) is an asset
  • Minimum 2+ years delivering exceptional customer service
  • Strong defensive driving and road safety awareness
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Strong punctuality and time management
  • Ability to solve problems effectively in dynamic on-road situations

Working Conditions

  • Primarily road-based role operating in varying traffic and weather conditions
  • Flexible hours required, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Regular vehicle operation and passenger assistance duties
