We’re looking for our next Credit Systems Analyst. Could it be you? The Credit Systems Analyst will contribute to the design, coding, testing, and migration of credit risk strategies. This role supports the Senior Manager, Credit Systems, in ensuring the effective implementation and continuous monitoring of our risk systems, with a focus on data integrity and system performance.

The Credit Systems Analyst will work closely with the Senior Manager and technology teams to support the implementation and monitoring of credit systems. This individual will be crucial in executing strategies, performing data analysis using SQL, Python, BigQuery, and Data Bricks, and actively participating in debugging and optimizing risk systems. A key aspect of this role involves diligent monitoring of reporting mechanisms to ensure correct execution and to proactively identify and assist in resolving potential issues.

  • Strategy Implementation Support: assisting in the design, coding, and testing of credit strategies for various lending products and the full credit lifecycle of customers.
  • System Integration Support: supporting the integration of credit systems with core banking platforms and collaborating with vendors to implement optimal solutions.
  • Data Analysis & Monitoring: utilizing SQL, Python, BigQuery, and Data Bricks extensively to pull data, monitor strategy migrations, and conduct analytics to debug issues and validate updates within the risk systems.
  • Real-Time Reporting: monitoring and leveraging real-time reporting mechanisms to ensure correct strategy execution and identify potential issues promptly.
  • System Expertise: contributing to developing internal subject matter expertise of third-party systems to enhance in-house support capabilities.
  • Model & Strategy Maintenance: assisting in implementing, updating, and maintaining credit models and strategies.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: participating in the process for user testing changes in strategies and models, ensuring accuracy and functionality.
  • Continuous Improvement: identifying and suggesting enhancements and opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction within risk systems.

  • Hold a University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Business, or a related quantitative field
  • Have 3+ years of hands-on experience in an analytical, technical, or system support role, preferably within financial services or a related domain
  • Have demonstrated proficiency in SQL
  • Have basic understanding of credit risk concepts, lending products, or fraud-related systems

Additional Kudos If You…

  • Have experience with Python, BigQuery, and Data Bricks
  • Are familiar with credit decisioning systems (e.g., HPS, TSYS, or similar adjudication/transaction modeling systems).
