Job Summary & Key Responsibilities
Laboratory Demonstrator/Instructor (multiple positions available)
PHYT 6218.4 – Integrated Practice II – May 25 to June 27, 2026 (inclusive of Exam Period)
Numerous instructors will be required to assist the course leaders by teaching and evaluating practical skills and techniques in the laboratory and course OSCEs. Labs will run every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Fridays between 12:30 – 4:30pm, including pre- and post-lab instructor meetings. OSCEs will occur during lab times.
Description of the duties:

Attendance at Lab orientation session (1 hr prior to May 25th, date TBD).

Preparation in advance for each lab and to be knowledgeable about the content provided in the lab handout.

During labs, review and teach practical skills as outlined in the lab handout; provide feedback and formative assessment of progress toward learning outcomes.

Promote a professional environment for safe and effective student learning.

The instructor will serve as an examiner for assessment of practical skills, in designated labs during the term, and at the midterm and final OSCEs.
Qualifications/Requirements of Position
Candidates must be licensed Physiotherapists with strong clinical expertise. Candidates must be committed to promoting inclusion, equity, and accessibility in post-secondary education and across health care settings. Candidates must state their availability in their cover letter.
Salary Range/Pay Rate
Per CUPE Collective Agreement

All offers of employment as a Part-Time Academic are conditional upon sufficient student enrolment in the course and approval by the University.
