About the role
As an Intermediate Accountant you will be responsible for reporting, compliance, cash flow monitoring, and project costing. You will be tasked with performing daily ledger balancing, preparing regular sales and marginal reports, and creating operating expense reports on a weekly or monthly basis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Preparation and analysis of quarterly and annual financial statements.

Posting bank reconciliations and identifying unposted transactions.

Handling project management to create jobs in ‘BuildBase’ system.

Updating deposits and final payouts in BuildBase and maintaining lot payable working paper to reflect in real time the historic and future payments.

Preparation of unit performance reports and responding to the queries from Homes Business Partner(s).

Running monthly cost of sales for housing inventory.
-
Processing landscape deposit refunds and certain property management invoices.
-
Maintaining a PST calculator and responding to queries from Homes and Legal teams.

Preparation and posting of all the journal entries and working papers related to housing inventory.
-
Overseeing corporate accounting email inbox to ensure all requests were timely taken care of by the team.

Assisting in Asana board management to keep it up to date all the time.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
