Salesforce Technical Architect / Solution Architect

Company Overview

StorageVault Canada is driving a large-scale Salesforce transformation across multiple lines of business, integrating Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, MuleSoft, and other technologies to deliver scalable solutions that align with our IT and business strategy. We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect / Solution Architect to guide the design and implementation of enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions.

This senior-level role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and integrated Salesforce architectures.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture

• Lead the technical design and implementation of Salesforce solutions.

• Translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure Salesforce architecture.

• Ensure alignment of solutions with overall enterprise IT strategy and best practices.

Configuration & Development Guidance

• Provide guidance and direction on Salesforce configuration, customization, and development.

• Define best practices, coding standards (if needed), and technical governance across teams.

• Support platform optimization, ensuring high performance, security, and maintainability.

Integration & Data Management

• Design and guide integration patterns using MuleSoft, APIs, and other technologies.

• Define data management strategies, including data modeling, migration, and synchronization across systems.

• Collaborate with Integration Architects, MuleSoft Developers, and Marketing Cloud Developers/Consultants as part of a shared technical capacity model.

• Ensure solutions meet long-term data integrity, maintainability, and compliance requirements.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with other Consultants, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Product Owners to refine requirements.

• Work closely with development teams to ensure technical solutions meet business objectives.

• Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on technical feasibility and platform capabilities.

Governance & Continuous Improvement

• Establish technical documentation, design patterns, and solution frameworks.
• Conduct code and design reviews, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.
• Stay up to date with Salesforce innovations and recommend enhancements to maximize value.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Salesforce technical roles, with at least 3 years as a Solution Architect or Technical Architect.

• Proven expertise across Salesforce platform capabilities (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, MuleSoft, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, and middleware technologies.

• Experience with data modeling, security architecture, and performance optimization.

• Salesforce certifications such as Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, System Architect, or equivalent are highly preferred.

• Familiarity with Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, Liquid).

• Awareness of Salesforce security architecture, compliance, and data privacy regulations.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work in a shared capacity model across multiple technical areas.

Location

• Occasional travel for workshops, stakeholder meetings, or project delivery as required.

• Combined work from home and office environment.
